How Sara Chana reached Moodtopia
My journey as a herbalist began when I suffered from a severe allergy that conventional medicine could not thoroughly cure. Searching for a sustainable solution, I turned to herbs and natural remedies. And from my college dorm, I started mixing and creating tinctures for my allergy. Starting right there, I was amazed at the positive impact they had on my health and well-being!
Moreover, my eldest daughter suffered from transverse myelitis and became quadriplegic. After weeks in the hospital, doctors said she would be bedridden for the rest of her life. Oh. My. G-d. After years of juggling my career and my family with seven children, the time had come to give up this life and spend nearly four months living at the hospital 24/7 with my daughter.
I made a vow that I would be positive and keep her away from negative energies. I learned to “fake it” in front of my daughter and bawl and cry in bathrooms or stairwells, then clean up after myself and then walk into her room with a smile on my face.
I started placing fresh flowers by her bedside table, spraying essential oils, dressing her in her “color palette,” taping get-well cards on the walls, and showing her funny photos in Vogue of high fashion boots that looked like what she wore to keep her feet from getting stuck in one place.
And for my own self-care, I started taking herbs, smelling essential oils, and smiling (even if the smile was plastered on). Certainly, herbs couldn’t fix this problem, but they helped temper my reactions and soften my emotions.
As my daughter defied her prognosis and started walking again, I learned more about moods and emotions. I learned how to control them using herbs, colors, essential oils, and mindset. I learned how to cope in ways I never imagined I could.
This experience has helped me and countless clients find control, peace, and balance in their lives and emotions. My passion for helping others continues to inspire my work today.
You can experience this relief and balance too. You can learn to tame your emotions, moods, and body – with the help of nature’s magical herbs and support from people you trust. Let me and Moodtopia Academy take your hand and lead you there.
