Hi, I’m Sara Chana—a master herbalist (RH, AHG), classical homeopath, and board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). For over three decades, I’ve dedicated my life to integrating the intuitive wisdom of natural medicine with the grounded power of modern science.
With over 45,000 clients and counting, I’ve had the honor of guiding women, mothers, and families through everything from colicky newborns to hormonal roller coasters, sleepless nights, stress, and emotional overwhelm.
My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep belief that the body knows how to heal—sometimes it just needs a little help from herbs, homeopathy, and heartfelt support.
My journey into the world of natural healing began long before I earned credentials or wrote bestsellers. It started with an insatiable curiosity and a fierce desire to help people feel better.
I dove deep into the study of plant medicine, homeopathy, and lactation science, becoming a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild and an IBCLC. But my greatest teachers? My clients—and my seven incredible children.
Being a mother has taught me how to blend science with soul, how to trust intuition, and how to offer real-world solutions that fit into the chaos and beauty of daily life.
From sleepless nights with teething babies to navigating teen hormones, I’ve lived this journey. And now, I help others walk it with more confidence and calm.
I offer private consultations that honor your unique story—whether you’re navigating postpartum recovery, managing anxiety, supporting your child’s immune system, or exploring alternatives to conventional treatments. I specialize in pediatric and women’s health, emotional resilience, stress management, and lactation support.
Out of the incredible response to my book, Moodtopia, I created Moodtopia Academy, an online herbal school for anyone ready to reclaim their health naturally.
Moodtopia Academy is more than an online school—it’s a global movement. A space where students from all walks of life are learning to heal, grow, and thrive—one herb, one moment, one deep breath at a time.

You might have seen me sharing tips on programs like The Today Show or Good Morning America, or heard me on popular podcasts diving into everything from adrenal fatigue to toddler tantrums.

I’ve been featured in magazines like Mothering and The Huffington Post, and I love translating complex health topics into clear, actionable guidance that anyone can follow.
When I’m not teaching, writing, or working with clients, I’m usually taking care of babies and kids, testing out new herbal recipes in the kitchen, or sneaking in an herbal walk in Brooklyn. I’m a mom to seven (yes, seven!) amazing children who keep me grounded, inspired, and always learning.
I believe wellness should feel joyful, not overwhelming. That healing is possible. That motherhood is sacred. And that we’re all doing the best we can with the tools we have.
So let’s grow together. Let’s build your herbal toolkit. Let’s make wellness feel like a warm cup of tea and a breath of fresh air.
You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here—every step of the way.
